Wisconsinite, Betsa knows so many people who rely on prescription drugs to make it through their day-to-day lives. But many of these people, she says, worry about being unable to afford their medicine and about the affordability of healthcare plans.
“Many people just like both of my parents, require a daily dose of medicine and sadly prescription prices in Wisconsin are high and keep getting higher!
There are also many individuals with no job, or with part-time jobs that simply can’t afford to have good insurance or get healthcare. I have known people that literally could not afford to buy an asthma pump for their asthmatic child.
Many consumers are afraid they won’t be able to afford or receive their next prescribed monthly pickup at the pharmacy, even if the need for it could be vital.”
No one in Wisconsin, she says, should have to worry about the costs associated with staying healthy.
